1. Data controller
VEE Smart Home Vietnam ("we", "us"), showroom address: 75 Ngo Thi Bi, Tang Hung, Quan 7, TP. Ho Chi Minh, contact email: cs@veesmarthomes.com. We are the Vietnam distribution partner for products manufactured by VEE International Berhad (Malaysia).
2. What data we collect
When you contact us via the website, a consultation form, or a demo request: your name, phone number, email, and the content of your message. For B2B customers using VISITORKU AI: face-recognition (biometric) data of end-customers/visitors at the deployment site (shop, office, residential building) is collected by the VISITORKU AI device on-site — not directly by us, though we advise on and deploy this system.
3. Why we use it
Contact data is used to respond to consultation requests, schedule site surveys/installation, and provide customer support. Biometric data within VISITORKU AI is used for member recognition, applying loyalty benefits, and operating the system — subject to end-user consent at each deployment site.
4. Sharing & cross-border data transfer
Some operational data from the VISITORKU AI system may be processed on VEE International Berhad's platform in Malaysia. This constitutes a cross-border transfer of personal data under Vietnam's Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL, in effect since 1 Jan 2026). We are working with VEE International Berhad to confirm exactly where data is stored/processed and to complete the relevant legal procedures before any wider rollout.
5. Retention
Contact data is kept for as long as needed to handle your request and meet legal obligations. For each VISITORKU AI deployment, the retention period for biometric data is agreed with the site operator (shop/building) before the system goes live.
6. Your rights
Under the PDPL, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and to withdraw any consent you have given. To exercise these rights, contact us at cs@veesmarthomes.com.
7. Data security
We apply reasonable measures to protect the data you provide to us. For the VISITORKU AI system, technical security standards (encryption, access control) are set by the manufacturer and are being confirmed by us before deployment to B2B customers.
